It’s a little embarrassing for the BHG name. Other BHG furniture I have ordered has been much higher quality. Sturdy, nice bolt cover finished, may have scuffsWe like the gray color and sturdiness of the assembled shelf. Unfortunately, our pieces came out of the box scratched and scuffed. I do like the nice touch of the bolt covers for the top and bottom shelf pieces.
Assembly got a bit wonky towards the last wall and I had to hold the shelf tightly together to get the holes to line up. But for the price you can’t expect too much. We have bought several of these and we were quite disappointed this time. Screw holes were not in proper places so made everything uneven. If wasn’t so heavy and so much work already completed we would have returned.

HOWEVER, I was lucky because it arrived with no damage so I’m keeping it. I put it together carefully making certain all of the contact points were complete and its as sturdy as you can hope for at this price point (which btw, was $129 – can’t really beat that). I’m using it for “decorative” storage in my home office and it’ll serve its purpose just fine. Good value for large shelf, nice modern finishVery happy with purchase for price.
It would be nice if there were covers for the metal cam locks for the middle shelves. I think it would look more polished and help the bins slide more easily in/out. I added 13” baskets from Target, and 3 metal boxes from IKEA, which fit perfect.
